PROJECT OVERVIEW

As part of a traffic impact study prepared for the Chesterbrook Shopping Center Redevelopment project, TPD completed traffic signal and ADA design and construction coordination services.

The project involved the creation of two (2) new midblock crossings of Chesterbrook Boulevard to provide connectivity between Wilson Farm Park, the existing residential neighborhoods, trails and the new retail/residential development. Emphasis of the crossings are provided by additional lighting, Duratherm decorative crosswalks, and Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB), which are powered and interconnected via radio communications. The project was coordinated with resurfacing of Chesterbrook Boulevard and line painting completed by the Township.

Project responsibilities included the completion of the following items:

- ADA Construction Plans

- Traffic Signal/Pavement Marking Plans

- Permitting and coordination

- Construction coordination services
