PROJECT OVERVIEW

TPD was retained by Realen Properties to provide traffic engineering services associated with the development of a 10-level, 500+ space parking garage with 16,500 square feet of ground floor retail space located in Center City Philadelphia adjacent to the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

TPD provided design guidance and recommendations regarding internal circulation and traffic operations during the development process from concept through post construction.

TPD prepared a transportation impact study in accordance with City and State requirements that included conducting vehicular and pedestrian traffic counts at six project intersections and collecting vehicular counts at a nearby parking garage to obtain local downtown core trip generation data.

TPD subsequently prepared an air quality study pursuant to City requirements pertaining to complex sources. TPD coordinated with PennDOT, Philadelphia Streets Department, and City Department of Public Health during the approval process.
