TPD was recently ranked as the #17 Top Design-Build Design Firm in the nation by Roads & Bridges (R&B) magazine as part of their 2013 Go-To List. R&B is the leading publication covering the transportation construction and maintenance marketplace. R&B sent its survey to over 10,000 government officials from various levels of government, inquiring which design firms they preferred to work with to form this year’s list. It is noted that TPD was previously ranked as the #20 Top Design-Build Design Firm by R&B as part of their 2010 Go-To List.
TPD was recently recognized by Lehigh Valley Business (LVB) as the #7 Top Engineering Firm, as well as the #47 Privately Held Business on their 2013 business lists. With a Lehigh Valley office located in downtown Allentown providing transportation engineering services to both private and public sector clients, TPD has played an integral role in the area’s economic and infrastructure development. LVB is the newspaper of record for the Lehigh Valley with readership over 35,000.
On September 9, 2013, TPD was presented with Greater Valley Forge (GVF)’s highest recognition at their annual Fall Sustainability Breakfast. This Platinum Level award recognized TPD for its continued efforts to reduce congestion and improve air quality through outstanding achievement in implementing programs that provide and promote commuting alternatives for their employees and community. Rob Henry, Executive Director of GVF commented on TPD’s commitment to sustainability, “GVF is thrilled to recognize TPD at the platinum level again this year. We applaud their leadership in the A/E/C industry for being committed to improving the environment and providing amenities to their employees, which makes it easier to commute to work and improves our air quality.” GVF is a not-for-profit transportation management association that partners with public and private entities and exists to advocate and promote a viable transportation network for the Greater Valley Forge region’s economic vitality.
