Street Lighting can encompass a substantial share of a Municipality’s budget with electricity bills and maintenance costs. With costs increasing, many Municipalities are looking at replacing existing street lighting fixtures and equipment with newer, more energy efficient technologies.
Some employers in the tri-county area set a great example for how to do more for their workers than what’s typically expected in a healthy job environment. And several of them have been in the lineup of Pennsylvania’s Best Places to Work program in 2014.
POTTSTOWN, PA – TPD president, Kevin Johnson, P.E., has been invited to join the Transportation Transition Team. Per the Governor-Elect Johnson will join the Team co-chairs, Kathy Dahlkemper (Erie County executive) and Eric Menzer (York Revolution president and general manager), as well as his Team’s 16 other members, in “reviewing state agencies and providing insight into issues that will allow [the Governor-Elect] to have the knowledge necessary to hit the ground running on January 20th”.
