TPD is pleased to announce our southern expansion with the opening of our first Maryland office, located in downtown Elkton, MD. The office is situated along the I-95 and US 40 corridors, enabling us to provide our public and private clients and teaming partners with enhanced levels of service and collaboration in Maryland, as well as extending further south. This is TPD’s ninth office location in the Mid-Atlantic region, with other locations in Pennsylvania (Pottstown – HQ, Philadelphia, West Chester, Doylestown, Allentown, Harrisburg, and Pittsburgh) and New Jersey (Camden). The addition of this office location is a direct outcome of TPD’s intense growth over the past 5 years in terms of revenue and staffing increases. This year alone, the Zweig Group, a national A/E/C-oriented organization, ranked TPD a Hot 100 Firm nationwide based on growth, as well as the #28 Best Civil Engineering Firm to Work For in the Nation. Additionally, Engineering News Record named TPD a Mid-Atlantic Top Design Firm for four consecutive years.

Alex Meitzler, PTOE, is serving as the office manager, and has a wealth of experience serving clients across the region, including MdSHA, DelDOT, VDOT, the City of Wilmington (DE), the City of Newark (DE), and more. Alex and his staff are excited for the opportunity of expanding TPD’s footprint into Maryland.
