Recently, CE News has also recognized TPD’s Executive Vice President, Matthew Hammond, PE, as a Rising Star in the Civil Engineering industry. Matt was one of 15 professionals, 40 and under, who have shown exceptional technical capability, leadership ability, effective teaching or research, or public service benefiting the profession, their employers, project owners and society. During his 18 years at TPD, Matt has continued to extend his reach beyond the firm. In addition to his role as Executive Vice President and a member of TPD’s Board of Directors, he served as chairman of the Institute of Transportation Engineers Parking Council, volunteers on township and county planning commissions and he taught as an adjunct professor at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA.
