It is with great pleasure TPD welcomes Kellen Sporny, PE to the TPD family as the new South Jersey Office Manager and companywide Transportation Technologies and Lighting Systems Leader. Kellen possesses 16 years of experience, including work on major transportation infrastructure projects across the United States, with several state DOTs, toll agencies, cities and universities. He has developed an expertise in projects involving transportation planning, traffic engineering, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and transportation lighting design.
TPD is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Vince DeFlavia, PE, who rejoined the TPD team as a Regional Leader for Traffic Engineering and ITS Services. In this role, Mr. DeFlavia will enrich TPD’s traffic engineering and related emerging technologies capabilities, particularly with respect to the public sector, with a focus on Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSMO), Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and Smart Cities applications.
TPD has expanded its New Jersey presence by opening two new additional office locations in Freehold, NJ (Monmouth County) and Hamilton, NJ (Mercer County). In conjunction with this announcement, the firm is also pleased to welcome two new members of their Structural Services Department, who will help bolster the firm’s presence in these areas, as well as the firm’s engineering capabilities in the state of New Jersey and beyond:
TPD is pleased to welcome Amanda Purcell, PE, as the newest addition to the TPD family. She is a Senior Project Manager in the firm’s Traffic Engineering Services Department, working in TPD’s Pittsburgh, PA office.
TPD is pleased to welcome Herman Lloyd to the TPD family, in the role of Vice President, serving as the Philadelphia Area Regional Leader. Mr. Lloyd began his career in the A/E/C industry over 50 years ago, employed by what is now known as the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). At PennDOT, he primarily focused on construction management and inspection, including serving as the Assistant Construction Engineer. After serving 29 years at PennDOT, he spent over two decades at two A/E/C consulting firms, also focusing on construction management, and transitioning into leadership roles.
