TPD recently welcomed back a familiar face, Christy Staudt, PE, to serve as TPD’s Regional Lead for North Carolina to oversee the opening of TPD’s Asheville, NC office – our first office located in southeastern U.S.

Christy has worked on a wide range of projects over her 19 years in the field of transportation planning and engineering. She has worked with both public and private sector clients on:

– Municipal and Corridor Transportation Plans and Traffic Studies

– Transportation Demand and Parking Demand Management

– NEPA Documentation for Transportation Projects

– Public Involvement and Consensus Building

Christy also brings expertise in multimodal and complete streets projects, including:

– Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities Design – On Road and Off Road (Including AASHTO AND – NACTO Bike Guide Design Experience)

– Trail Design and Alignment Evaluations

– Pedestrian and Trail Crossing Design

– Development of Bicycle and Pedestrian Policy and Design Standards
