DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION AT TPD

DEI IN OUR WORKPLACE

At TPD, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are at the core of who we are. We strive to foster an environment that respects the differences amongst our employees and to create a culture and foundation of empathy, courage, and trust. TPD’s employees are its greatest asset and includes people from a wide range of cultures, backgrounds, and experiences. We embrace these differences and do not discriminate, period.

We collectively work toward the goal of Moving Forward Together®, through our project work, internally and with respect to our local communities. We know that having varied perspectives helps generate better ideas to solve the complex problems of a changing—and increasingly diverse—world. We celebrate DEI throughout everything we do, by supporting and encouraging all TPDers to be innovative, collaborative, and comfortable sharing their unique perspectives.

OUR DEI COMMITTEE

TPD’s DEI Committee was officially established in 2021, with the purpose of assisting our Board with establishing the framework of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives at TPD. Our DEI Committee further serves to ensure those initiatives are carried out by the company and to advocate for new and additional initiatives to keep the DEI program progressing forward. The Committee assists in TPD’s efforts to continue to create an inclusive environment that promotes equity in the workplace. Thus, leading to a culture that leverages diversity to its fullest potential so that every employee can have a sense of belonging regardless of their background.

In 2024, TPD employees formed the first Employee Resource Group (ERG) in the firm’s history – TPD Spectrum – which serves as a network and resource for LGBTQIA+ employees and their allies, seeks to spread awareness, aids in marketing to improve recruitment and retention of LGBTQIA+ individuals, and provides opportunities for employee development. We look forward to seeing how the ERG program evolves!
