TPD Successfully Concludes Their Annual “12 Ways of Giving” Program!

As the 2019 holiday season has come to an end, so has TPD’s unique holiday giving program, which was created to benefit community members (and animals) across the eastern United States. This program also helped members of the firm continue to fulfill one of their collective corporate values: The commitment to bettering their surrounding communities through charitable work and giving.

The firm’s “12 Ways of Giving” program spread holiday cheer in the following ways:

1. Fourteen TPDers visited Main Line Animal Rescue (MLAR) in Phoenixville, PA to lend them a hand by volunteering for a few hours.

2. TPD’s donation to Operation 143 helped support the 400+ food insecure students they support across southeastern PA.

3. The firm donated approximately 5 lbs. of can tabs to benefit the Ronald McDonald House charity in New Jersey.

4. TPD provided 367 toys to the US Marine Corps’ annual Toys for Tots program – which is over double the amount collected!

5. Approximately $250 worth of donations were collected for The Center for Animal Health & Welfare, a private, no-kill shelter based out of Easton, PA.

6. TPD donated wreaths, and TPD’s Pittsburgh staff (along with some family members) placed wreaths on veteran’s gravestones, as part of the national “Wreaths Across America” program at the National Cemetery for the Alleghenies in Bridgeville, PA.

7. TPD collected enough donations to fill 20 bags and 5 large boxes of food and essentials for the Holiday Give Away collection program that is run throughout the year at a TPDer’s Harrisburg, PA church.

8. The firm donated 300 lbs. of food for the Bucks County Opportunity Council (BCOC), who partners with 27 organizations throughout the county. TPD’s donation supported local families in need via the Doylestown Food Pantry.

9. Over 30 staff members donated baked goods to the Daily Bread Community Food Pantry in Collegeville, PA and Safe Harbor of Chester County in West Chester, PA.

10. TPDers collected LOTS of socks with their Cold Weather Gear Drive, for donation in Asheville, NC.

11. TPDers from our Asheville, NC office lent a helping hand at Haywood Street, a mission congregation and faith-based nonprofit, where they prepared and served a warm meal to some of their fellow community members in need.
