TPD Expands New Jersey Presence and Welcomes New Faces

TPD has expanded its New Jersey presence by opening two new additional office locations in Freehold, NJ (Monmouth County) and Hamilton, NJ (Mercer County). In conjunction with this announcement, the firm is also pleased to welcome two new members of their Structural Services Department, who will help bolster the firm’s presence in these areas, as well as the firm’s engineering capabilities in the state of New Jersey and beyond:

Greg Bitsko, PE, PP

Gregory Bitsko, PE, PP, New Jersey Regional Structures Leader, oversees operations out of these two locations. His primary areas of focus are performing business development, project management, and structural engineering management. Mr. Bitsko has 35 years of transportation engineering experience and holds Professional Engineering licenses in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland, in addition to a Professional Planning license in New Jersey. His experience managing public sector projects for clients includes, but is not limited to NJDOT, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission (DRJTBC), the Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA), PennDOT, and a variety of New Jersey and Pennsylvania counties.

Prior to joining the consulting community in 2003, Mr. Bitsko worked for a County Engineering Department for over 18 years, rounding out his time there serving as the County Bridge Engineer. This combined experience has given him a unique perspective, making him an excellent client manager and teaming partner.

Senior Project Manager

Janella Guillermo, PE, a Senior Project Manager in TPD’s Structural Services Department, works in tandem with Mr. Bitsko, with the primary goal of providing TPD’s New Jersey clients with outstanding service and deliverables. Her 14 years of experience includes successfully delivering bridge replacement and rehabilitation projects to public sector clients in New Jersey, including Monmouth County, Mercer County, Ocean County, Sussex County, and the DRJTBC.

Their team specializes in providing the following services for departments of transportation, toll commissions, municipalities, counties, transit authorities, and non-profit agencies:

  • Bridge design for replacements and rehabilitations
  • Superstructure and substructure designs
  • Culvert design
  • Retaining wall and noise wall design
  • Bridge inspections
